Ogopogo lives in an underwater cave in Lake Okanagan where she enjoys reading, art and yoga. Things in her life are very peaceful until her crazy cousin, Manipogo, from Manitoba comes to visit. Then the shenanigans begin!

The Canadian Monster Club series is a collection of short and beautifully illustrated stories that are all based around characters from Canadian mythology and/ or on actual historical sightings. Each fun-filled story contain short, repetitive singing parts that children can join in on as well as a look-and-find that becomes part of the action.

Each book contains a historical account of each monster. Partial proceeds from the sale of these books has been donated to the First Nations Family and Caring Society.

    Wonderful local story

Posted by Julie on 2nd Jan 2022

We are from BC and are familiar with the legend of Ogopogo. This is an adorable and fun adaptation for kids (and adults) of all ages. Since receiving this book (and some of the other Monster Club books) for Christmas, my grandson reads them nightly and even recites some of the parts as he reads along. We highly recommend Ogopogo & all the other Monster Club books!

I read these to my grandson on FaceTime and he reads along with his copy. We have fun finding the frog on each page and doing the search and find page. These Canadian Monster books are fantastic!

    Above and Beyond.

Not only is this a wonderful book but the story is very important to our family. We were accidentally sent the wrong book and Troy made up for it immediately and sent it to us. I ordered it for my young granddaughter. My daughter said "It’s really fun it has the legend , it has a story that they made up , it has a search and find page , and the images are super cute."
