Felix wrote Don’t Floss Your Toes when he was 5 years old as a fundraiser for Blau syndrome (early onset sarcoidosis) and arthritis/uveitis. All proceeds fund research grants to find effective treatments, and ultimately a cure for Blau syndrome.
"My sister has Blau syndrome. She is the strongest baby. She acts like she doesn't have it and she doesn't cry even though it hurts so much. She has to get thousands of needles. She likes it when I go with her to the hospital. I hope one of you will help my sister get what she needs and find a cure for Blau syndrome" - a tribute to Lexi by Felix age 5.
Lexi lost her life to Blau syndrome, but Felix continues to raise funds to carry out his sister's wish to find a cure.
